Rattan, warmth, books. Nothing staged.
The living room was the last to come together, which probably explains why it feels the most natural. We swapped in a walnut TV stand Dawn approved in March, kept the original jute rug because it earned its place, and added two faux fan palms in blue pots. Dawn specifically called for blue to balance the terracotta and the warm wood tones. She was right.
The bookcase holds actual books. Not staged filler, not a single decorative plant where a title should be. The artwork above the fireplace is a large piece sourced from Etsy. It fills the wall without demanding your attention, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
The rattan seating came from a combination of sourced pieces and what was already working. Nothing in this room came from a big-box matching set. The result is a room that feels collected over time, like a house where people actually live rather than a set dressed for a shoot. You will sit down here and not want to move until dinner.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, Kahlo blue pool, and this living room. Available for direct booking.
