Second Bedroom

The rust linen curtains run floor to ceiling and block enough light to actually sleep in. The king bed sits against the wall with a rattan headboard and good linen. Smaller than the primary, quieter in a different way: no wallpaper moment, just a well-put-together room that does not try too hard.

The standing desk and rattan lounge chair make this the room that remote workers usually claim. Stable WiFi, a chair worth sitting in for a few hours, decent light from the window without direct sun baking the desk. It functions as workspace without looking like one when the laptop is closed.

The fiddle leaf fig in the corner earns its space. It is not a prop. It was placed there because the light is right, and it has stayed alive to prove it.
